Day 1
Mumbai
  • Arrive in the Maximum city – Mumbai. Recuperate from the jetlag and ready yourself before you’re taken on this beautiful journey. Enjoy the evening with a drive over the Bandra-Worli Sealink which is an engineering marvel. If time permits, visit the St Francis of Assisi Church – a relatively less known quaint church with a gorgeous altar. Later watch the sun go down at the Worli Seaface.

Munnar
  • Within 02 hours of flight time, you are transferred to Cochin from Mumbai. The winding road from Cochin to Munnar are lined with tea bushes as with the tea-pickers dotting the gardens. You feel the cool wind as you ascend the hill station towards your Hotel. Rid yourself of the weariness with a reenergizing Ayurvedic massage in the evening.

  • The Eravikulam National Park is surrounded by rolling hills and plateaus. One can spot the Nilgiri Tahr– the mountain goat. Neelakurinji–are small blue flower shrubs which carpet the hills and bloom once in 12 years and 2018 being such a year! The season starts from August – October and the tourists flock to the hills to behold this once in a blue moon experience. You can spot the Nilgiri Flycatcher in the Park and many such birds. Later dip your feet in the Lakkom falls and unwind.

Munnar
  • The Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is a unique protected area located in the rain shadow region in the eastern slope of Western Ghats, adjoining Tamil Nadu. It is a well-known repository of medicinal plants and supports a healthy population of grizzled giant squirrel, star tortoise, etc. On your way back to Munnar, a visit to the Tea Museum is a must. See how the famous beverage is processed from the tea leaves to the tea powder. You won’t be able to stop yourself from sampling a few packets to take back home.

Thekkady
  • A scenic drive of around 3.5 hours takes you to Thekkady. Enjoy the Private Pool Villa. In the evening take the Jungle Jeep Safari.

  • A guided Spice plantation visit to get acquainted with the various spices and condiments is arranged for you. How the spices and herbs are beneficial for us is revealed here. Later, enjoy the amenities of the hotel and your private pool villa.

Kumarkom
  • The backwaters of Kerala in Kumarkom await your arrival. A ride on the cycle along the paddy fields and coconut groves lined by the Vembanad Lake reminds one of their childhood. An ethnic massage ‘Abhyangam’ is arranged for you. It tones up the muscles and rejuvenates your entire system.

  • Birding in the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, the much loved haunt of migratory birds.You can spot waterfowl, cuckoo, owl, egret, heron, cormorant, moorhen, darter, and brahminy kite, as well as the migratory Siberian crane. Spend the evening roaming the local markets where you can shop for bronze lamps and utensils, etc

Kovalam
  • A parallel drive to the coast of approx. 05 hours will take you to the best resort town of Kerala – Kovalam. After checking in the Hotel, indulge in the Ayurveda therapy at Ayurashram Ayurveda Centre. A dinner at German Bakery which overlooks the beautiful Lighthouse beach.

  • For the adrenaline junkie, water sports like Surfing, Swimming, and Parasailing etc is available. You can even take the traditional Catamaran ride at Hawah Beach. After a day of adventure, enjoy an Ayurvedic and Pure Vegetarian meal at Swastha Beach Side.
Day 11
Poovar
  • The tip of Kerala is Poovar. Once you check-in the Ayurveda Floating cottages, relax at the Sunken Bar and enjoy your favourite beverages. The evening is reserved for indulging in Meditation / Yoga Session or Indoor Games at the hotel.
Day 12
Poovar
  • We take the River safari of the Poovar River to see fishermen fishing with traditional means. Further up ahead is the Golden Sand Beach; it is one of a kind as it is only a strip of sand with the Arabian Sea on one side and the Poovar Backwaters on the other side. Sink your teeth in the juicy Pineapples and Raw Mangoes sold by the locals here. Once you return to the Hotel, the Chavitty Thirummu – a Traditional Kerala Massage is waiting for you.
Day 13
Departure
  • Departure: Pick up spices, aromatic oils, silk sarees etc. at the local markets.The last visit is at Padmanabhaswamy Temple – one of the most divine and richest temples in India with the reclining statue of Lord Vishnu on the Serpent Ananthais a sight to behold. Entry is given only if you are wearing the traditional Mundu (a wraparound) which are sold on the entrance at a reasonable cost.
    Then you are transferred to the Trivandrum Airport for your flight back home. We bid you adieu, hoping you had a memorable time and experience during your Indian sojourn.
