  • ‘Filmy’ is what the city of Mumbai is! And no, it is not the usual meaning as per the Oxford English Dictionary, it means ‘film-like’ as per the Mumbai-English Dictionary! Filmy -because the people of Mumbai do really believe that anything can happen in Mumbai – Just like in a film! It is after all called as the ‘City of Dreams’ fondly by its citizens. Once you arrive, spend some time watching the seagulls soar on the Worli Sea-face, a drive on the engineering marvel on the Bandra-Worli Sea-link or a visit to the St Francis of Assisi Church – a relatively less known quaint church with a gorgeous altar.

  • Did you know Mumbai has a Bollywood contemporary to The Rocky Horror Picture Show for the longest running film in Indian cinema history – Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Released in 1995, the theatre Maratha Mandir still screens the epic film for its die-hard fans! Sit amongst the fanatics of the film who cheer, whistle and mouth the dialogues of the film!
    Wouldn’t it be great to see where the stars live? We take you to show India’s very own Beverly Hills – Bandra. Lined by the bungalows of the actors and actresses like Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rajesh Khanna and the likes. If you are lucky, you might spot one of them giving their darshan to their loyal fans!

  • The man who introduced Cinema to India is Dadasaheb Phalke – whose name is given to the ‘Filmcity’ which houses a number of Film Studios. Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari is where the magic happens. If you’re lucky, you might see a live film shoot with the actors in action! The sets of Devdas – a timeless epic created by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Maharana Pratap and Tarak Mehta are still preserved for fans to visit.

  • Wouldn’t it be wonderful to see where the works behind the camera take place? Once the film is created, the dubbing happens in the Dubbing Studios. We can get a chance to dub the famous dialogues of iconic films like Sholay – “Kitne Aadmi the?” or Devdas – “Kaun kambakth bardasht karne ke liye peeta hai?” and such! Singing in a proper studio has to be a dream of every film-buff! We let you turn this dream in to reality in such a studio!

  • Early morning visit the Gateway of India – a monument from the colonial past of Mumbai is a must-do activity. The Gharapuri caves or better known as Elephanta caves, situated on an island off the coast of Mumbai. They can be accessed by a ferry ride of 01 hour or so. It has beautiful sculptures of Lord Shiva and Buddha in basalt rock which are a UNESCO World Heritage site. Once you return, CST station (earlier known as Victoria Terminus) Rajabai Clock Tower, Flora Fountain, etc. are on the agenda.

  • India is one place where the stars are not just loved by the people but worshipped in every sense! These stars are just like us and when they have a big film up for a release. They too throng the temples, dargahs and churches alike! We take you to Siddhivinayak Temple, Haji Ali, Babulnath Temple and Mount Mary church for a visit. Watch the sun go down from Marine Drive sipping on the famous ‘Mumbai cutting chai’ The night is open for a party session at a club of your choice! Experience the Night life in Mumbai – the city that never sleeps!

  • Today, we only Shop! Shop! And Shop! We haggle for trinkets at Colaba Causeway in the South of Mumbai. There are some stalls with gorgeous antiques like small bronze compasses and lamps. If something branded is what you desire, we can go to Palladium in Phoenix Mall. Or if it’s just a bargain that you are looking for then Hill Road and Link Road are the places to be. The last night in Mumbai has to be spent dancing on Bollywood songs in any of the popular and hip clubs of Mumbai.
