Mumbai
  • Enter the country through the famous Indian “Maximum city” – Mumbai. Walk amongst the locals at Worli sea-face, as the waves’ crash on the shore and splatter you with droplets of salt water. Marvel at the engineer’s feat of Bandra-Worli Sea Link suspended in air. Pay your respects at the St. Francis church of Bandra.

Munnar
  • Within 02 hours of flight time, you are transferred to Cochin from Mumbai. The winding road from Cochin to Munnar are lined with tea bushes as with the tea-pickers dotting the gardens. You feel the cool wind as you ascend the hill station towards your Hotel. Rid yourself of the weariness with a reenergizing Ayurvedic massage in the evening.

  • The Eravikulam National Park is surrounded by rolling hills and plateaus. One can spot the Nilgiri Tahr– the mountain goat. Neelakurinji–are small blue flower shrubs which carpet the hills and bloom once in 12 years and 2018 being such a year! The season starts from August – October and the tourists flock to the hills to behold this once in a blue moon experience. You can spot the Nilgiri Flycatcher in the Park and many such birds. Later dip your feet in the Lakkom falls and unwind.

Thekkady
  • The Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is a unique protected area located in the rain shadow region in the eastern slope of Western Ghats, adjoining Tamil Nadu. It is a well-known repository of medicinal plants and supports a healthy population of grizzled giant squirrel, star tortoise, etc. On your way back to Munnar, a visit to the Tea Museum is a must. See how the famous beverage is processed from the tea leaves to the tea powder. You won’t be able to stop yourself from sampling a few packets to take back home.

Thekkady
  • A scenic drive of around 3.5 hours takes you to Thekkady. We give a visit to the Ayurveda Restaurant where we learn about the benefits of Ayurvedic Vegetarian cuisine. In the evening take the Jungle Jeep Safari. Enjoy the Private Pool Villa.

  • The sunrise trek in the Periyar Wildlife Reserve is worth getting up at dawn. Spend half a day on the Bamboo Rafting trip where you spot the animals from the raft itself! Later get on a guided Spice plantation visit to get acquainted with the various spices and condiments. How the spices and herbs are beneficial for us is revealed here.

Kumarakom
  • The backwaters of Kerala in Kumarkom await your arrival. A ride on the cycle along the paddy fields and coconut groves lined by the Vembanad Lake reminds one of their childhood. It tones up the muscles and rejuvenates your entire system. To acquaint ourselves with the uses of Coconut and its benefits, we visit the farms and the Coir factories. An ethnic massage ‘Abhyangam’ is arranged for you.

Kumarakom
  • Eating the delicious and healthy South Indian food must’ve peaked your interest as to how it is prepared. Hence a cooking lesson for you to learn about the cuisine! Spend the evening roaming the local markets where you can shop for bronze lamps and utensils, etc

Allepey
  • On the other side of the Vembanad Lake is Allepey or locally known as Alappuzha. This town is sandwiched between the lake and the Laccadive Sea. Making it a perfectly serene small town for you to practice meditation and yoga. Expose yourself to various Asanas, Pranayama, Dhyanam and Vedic practices. Kick back and enjoy the beautiful nature around you with the backwaters in the background and the vast sea ahead of you.

Departure
  • We make a last minute shopping stop at Kottayam. Kottayam markets provide exotic shopping options like different gift items, silks, cotton, handicrafts, textiles and spices, etc. Then you are transferred to the Cochin Airport for your flight back home. We bid you adieu, hoping you had an immersive Indian experience.
