Spirituality and Wellness are interwoven in everyday Indian life. The land where many religions have been born – Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism is bound to be spiritual. We can go as far and say that India is a ‘celebration of diverse beliefs’.

From North to South and East to West, every state is resplendent with different styles of temples, gurdwaras, mosques, monasteries and churches standing side by side. It is here that the ancient exercise routine of Yoga was invented. Rid yourself of all the negativity and enrich your body and soul with the Asanas of Yoga.

It is around 200 years old with magnificent sculptures and stories from Mahabharata and Ramayana – the great epics of India carved onto the six pillars of the mandapa (hall). The legend says that it is here that Lord Siva was reunited with his consort Goddess Parvati after a long separation.

The only Basilica in Goa is that of the Bom Jesus. It is a World Heritage site of UNESCO. The final resting place of St. Francis Xavier – whose remains are enshrined here pull crowds of all faiths from all over the world. It is said that the body of St. Francis shrinks every year and when it will shrink to nothing, it will be end of the world! The monument seems very plain from outside, with its un-plastered exterior but don’t let that fool you. Once you enter, you see the beautiful altar which is elaborately carved and gilded.
If the Basilica of Bom Jesus seems somber to you, then Se Cathedral will be imposing for you! It is a commanding structure erected to commemorate the victory of Alfonso Albuquerque which was won on the feast of St Catherine of Alexandria. It is the Cathedral of the Archbishop of Goa.
The famed cuisine of Goa is there for you to titillate your taste buds. Full of tender coconuts and spices gives the seafood an exceptional flavor which has to be experienced firsthand.
