Itinerary
Day 1
Mumbai
  • ‘Filmy’ is what the city of Mumbai is! And no, it is not the usual meaning as per the Oxford English Dictionary, it means ‘film-like’ as per the Mumbai-English Dictionary! Filmy -because the people of Mumbai do really believe that anything can happen in Mumbai – Just like in a film! It is after all called as the ‘City of Dreams’ fondly by its citizens. Once you arrive, spend some time watching the seagulls soar on the Worli Sea-face, a drive on the engineering marvel on the Bandra-Worli Sea-link or a visit to the St Francis of Assisi Church – a relatively less known quaint church with a gorgeous altar.

Day 4
South Goa
  • Driving for an hour along the coast of Goa, you reach Karwar, Karnataka. It has aptly earned the title of ‘Kashmir of Karnataka’ for the serene scenery it offers to the traveller.
The Ravindranath Tagore Beach is a long stretch of sand up to 5km having the options of parasailing, banana boats and other adventure activities.
The Nagarmadi waterfalls are next to be visited. These falls are unique as they pass under a huge boulder creating a pool of sorts underneath which is apt for swimming and enjoying the cool water. On a mere 5kms distance from the Karwar bus stand is the Sadashivgad Fort. It has witnessed the transfer of power between many rulers, including Portuguese, Marathas and British. Currently in ruins, still the panoramic view it gives from the top takes one’s breath away.
Driving for about 1.5 hours, we arrive at Gokarna – "Land of Palm trees, Blue seas and Golden sands" To get in touch with your spiritual self, Mahabaleshwar temple makes a nice visit. The 4th century Dravidian architectural style oozes with history of this small town.
Afterwards, a must visit to the Om Beach – named after the uncanny shape the beach forms. The beach is the first of the various beaches along the shore of the town. A trek of about 20 minutes takes you to Half Moon Beach. Paradise beach is one option as one of the least crowded beaches ever. This is mainly due to a rather vigorous trek one has to take to reach here from Half-moon Beach. But the view and experience make it a worthwhile choice. (Remember to carry water, stick to the trek path and instructions of the guide for both the beaches)
Breakfast - Dinner
Day 5
North Goa
  • The butterflies flittering on the Butterfly beach give it its name. This beach seems like an island as it has to be accessed by a boat ride. You can spot Dolphins and birds in this secluded spot in Goa. Further ahead, we take you to Cola Beach. The Blue Lagoon which has been formed from the river flowing in the sea is one of a kind. The kayaking in the backwaters is a must-do activity. The night is open for famous partying in Goa well into the night!
